In a desire to expand our offering to new markets, the team at Artifact Uprising decided to refresh our line of frames. Traditionally known for sticking with solid wood in our products, we took a risk in adding this sleek metal profile to our line. I used my background in interiors to make sure it felt contemporary and kept up with home decor trends without feeling like it’d go out of style anytime soon.
Unlike photo books which can be shot in a small studio setup these needed to be shown in someone’s home to allow our customers to envision these frames in their own spaces. I hunted for the perfect location for weeks and after finding a couple of gems on the west coast, headed to California with our photographer. Nothing quite beats natural light streaming in, coastal tunes playing in the background, and a hands-on team of two thoroughly enjoying their work.
